Job summary

Employer Sponsored Jobs is seeking a skilled carpenter to join a respected residential construction company delivering architecturally designed homes across New South Wales. You will work in a supportive team through all stages from set-out to finish, with emphasis on workmanship and safety.

There are strong career progression prospects and a healthy work-life balance, with sponsorship for suitable candidates after probation and full visa sponsorship under Australia Subclass 482/186.

Qualifications

• CertificateIII in Carpentry or equivalent trade qualification.
• Minimum three years post-trade carpentry experience.
• Experience building custom or architecturally designed residential homes.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
• Commitment to workplace health and safety.

Responsibilities

• Complete all stages of residential carpentry from set-out to final fit-off.
• Construct wall, floor and roof framing to approved plans.
• Install doors, windows, staircases, cabinetry and internal finishes.
• Interpret architectural drawings and specifications accurately.
• Maintain exceptional workmanship and attention to detail.
• Ensure all work complies with Australian building standards and safety requirements.
• Coordinate effectively with supervisors, subcontractors and other trades.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe work environment.
• Assist in delivering high-quality residential projects on schedule.
• Contribute positively to a collaborative and professional team environment.
