Job summary

Belgravia Leisure is seeking energetic Aqua Aerobic Group Fitness Instructors for Manning Aquatic & Leisure Centre in Taree. You will conduct Aqua Aerobics, Boot Camp, and Les Mills sessions, plus other group programs, with responsibilities to engage a diverse participant base and collaborate with the team.

Casual positions operate mornings, evenings and weekends, offering a balance between work and life, and opportunities for career development within the Belgravia Leisure group.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service mindset and clear communication with participants.
• Current fitness registration with Fitness Australia or Physical Activity Australia.
• Senior First Aid Certificate and CPR Certification.
• Working with Children Check and police check as part of employment.

Responsibilities

• Lead Aqua Aerobics, Boot Camp, Les Mills and related group fitness programs.
• Interact effectively with participants of diverse ages and backgrounds and work as part of a team.

We're on the lookout for an energetic, suitably qualified, motivated Aqua Aerobic Group Fitness Instructors!

The Role

Manning Aquatic & Leisure Centre are looking for amazing group fitness instructors to teach at our Centre. We have Aqua Aerobics, Boot Camp, Les Mills BODYPUMP/ BODYSTEP/ BODYBALANCE, B Active Longer Strength/Aerobics/Circuit, Dance, Stretch & Core, Yoga and HIIT. If you teach other programs, we are interested in you too!

You will have the ability to communicate and interact effectively with participants that have a diverse range of ages, abilities, cultures and needs. Demonstrating the ability to work effectively both independently and as a strong and valuable member of the team.

Skills & Attributes

• A demonstrated commitment to customer service and well-developed communication skills


• Certificate III in Fitness, Fitness Leaders Course, Exercise to Music Module or Group Exercise Leader Les Mills (GEL).


• Current fitness registration with Fitness Australia or Physical Activity Australia


• Current Senior First Aid Certificate


• Current CPR Certificate


• Working with Children Check


• Agree to undergo police check as part of the employment process


• Driven to success with friendly can-do attitude


• Availability to work mornings, evenings and weekends is essential
