Propel Recruitment is seeking a Regulatory Reporting Manager for a 6-month contract based in Sydney. You will support APRA reporting, coordinate with IT Data and Finance, prepare returns and reconcile data to GL and loan systems.

This role offers hybrid working with on-site CBD offices, an opportunity to optimise processes and drive automation, and exposure to a fast-growing financial services group.

Qualifications

• 2-4+ years’ post-qualification experience in financial and/or regulatory reporting.
• Hands-on experience preparing APRA returns (or other regulatory returns).
• Background in a non-bank lender, mortgage or broader financial services reporting environment.
• Sound understanding of lending products, securitisation structures and funding arrangements.
• Working knowledge of data governance concepts.
• Statutory reporting and external audit management experience in a listed or regulated environment.

Responsabilités

• Support the implementation of APRA reporting requirements and manage financial and non-financial data with IT Data and Finance teams.
• Prepare and manage APRA submissions via APRA Connect
• Reconcile reported data to general ledger and loan management system
• Identify and resolve regulatory reporting issues in a timely manner
• Document the reporting framework, data governance controls and process notes
• Identify and implement automation, process improvements and efficiencies
• Coordinate the annual regulatory reporting audit, including reviews and audit queries
• Group Insurance Renewal end-to-end management and renewal questionnaires
• Review policy schedules and coverage for accuracy; maintain insurance register and renewal calendar
• Track premium costs against budget and assist allocation across entities and funds
• Assist Group Finance with year-end reporting deliverables and respond to external audit queries
