About the role

Key responsibilities
  • Be a passionate advocate for promotion of Australian Apprenticeships as a career pathway.
  • Complete sign‑up inductions with employers and Australian apprentices.
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders within the region to encourage commencement, retention and completion of apprenticeships via attendance at networking events, career expos and industry events.
  • Develop and maintain strong industry links and stakeholder engagement with employers, registered training organisations, schools and other stakeholders.
  • Promote business growth within Mas National and the IntoWork group.
  • Undertake assessment services with potential apprentices and employers to determine their readiness and ability to undertake an apprenticeship.
  • Raise the awareness and profile of Australian apprenticeships and other VET training pathways, especially in terms of recruitment for key client groups including First Nations, disability, women in trades, and regional and remote.
  • Build strong relationships with schools identified in the School Engagement Plan to position MAS National as the ACAP of choice for both information and sign‑up purposes while meeting DEWR biannual targets.
About You

The successful candidate will have a passion for helping people and experience in building relationships across a diverse client pool. They will also be self‑motivated and able to work autonomously in a fast‑paced environment, providing impartial, current and personalised advice.

You will also bring

  • An understanding of the Australian apprenticeship system and VET sector (preferred but not essential).
  • Willingness to learn and be mentored in a new role.
  • Proven experience in providing high levels of customer service to clients.
  • Strong computer and administration skills.

This is an autonomous position which is exceptionally rewarding. The role includes a company‑maintained vehicle, phone and laptop.
