RAC Auto Services in Joondalup is offering a highly sought after 1st Year Automotive Technician Apprenticeship. This full-time, four-year program will commence in November 2026 at our Joondalup Service Centre.

You’ll train under qualified technicians, gain hands-on experience, and complete logbooks while building a long-term career with RAC across WA.

Qualifications

• Genuine interest in pursuing mechanical career (light vehicle).
• Ability to learn in workplace and classroom environment.
• Demonstrated teamwork.
• Reliability and punctuality.
• Self-motivation and proactive attitude.
• Sound customer service skills.
• Valid WA C class driving licence.
• Cert II Pre-Apprenticeship is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Attending and participating in all required training along with completion of logbooks.
• Developing the ability to perform quality servicing and mechanical repairs to all types of vehicles under supervision and guidance of fully qualified Automotive Technicians.
• Preparing repair orders and capturing parts issued.
• Maintaining a safe work environment and cleanliness of the work bay/workshop.
• General administration duties.

As we continue to grow and expand our network, including our exciting expansion in Joondalup, we are offering a highly sought after 1st Year Automotive Technician Apprenticeship. Reporting to the Team Leader, this fulltime, four year apprenticeship will commence in November 2026 and be based at our Joondalup Service Centre. We’re looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual with a positive can do attitude, a willingness to learn, and the flexibility to thrive in a fast-paced workshop environment. What will you be doing?
