Job summary

Carma, a digital pre-owned car dealership in Sydney, is seeking an Apprentice Spray Painter to join our Automotive Production team. You will learn on-the-job in a busy workshop while earning as you train.

No prior experience is required, and we will teach you the necessary skills through hands-on training and study toward your trade qualification.

Qualifications

• Driver's licence (P-Plates or above) required.
• Passion for cars and automotive industry.
• Motivation to learn, grow and become a Spray Painter.
• Positive attitude, attention to detail and a solid work ethic.
• Enrolled or willing to start an automotive apprenticeship.

Responsibilities

• Support Paintshop operations and learn repair and paint skills on various vehicles.
• Study toward your trade qualification while gaining hands-on experience in prepping and masking.
• Contribute to bringing vehicles back to life and making them shine.
• Be part of a team that supports each other and delivers quality work.
• Keep the workshop clean and organized to maintain efficiency.

Just finished school and keen to kick-start your career working on cars? This is your chance to get hands-on experience with a paid apprenticeship at Carma! We’re looking for a motivated, hands-on Apprentice Spray Painter to join our awesome workshop team. No experience? No worries! We’ll teach you everything you need to know through on-the-job training and study—so you’ll be earning while you’re learning.

What you'll be doing?

• You’ll be hands-on from day one—supporting our Paintshop, learning real-world repair and paint skills, and working on all kinds of vehicles in a fast-paced workshop.
• Study towards your trade qualification while gaining experience in prepping, masking, colour matching, and more.
• You won’t just help keep our vehicles in top shape—you’ll be part of bringing them back to life and making them shine like new.
• Being part of a team that supports each other, solves problems together, and takes pride in top-quality work.
• Keeping our workshop looking good—because a clean and organised space makes all the difference!

• A valid driver’s licence (P-Plates or above).
