  • Must be willing to learn and follow instructions.

  • Colour match vehicle.
  • Prep vehicle as per Job Sheet requirements.
  • Prime vehicle as per Job Sheet requirements.
  • Paint vehicle as per Job Sheet requirements.
  • Buff and denib vehicle as per Job Sheet.
  • Carry out minor repairs as per Job Sheet upon request.

Join the supportive, friendly team at Gemini Kingston — centrally located closed to Fyshwick, just off Canberra Avenue, with free parking available to staff. The site is fully equipped with Car-O-Liner systems, spot welders, and spray booths. Build better with 14 professionals who support each other and enjoy a good team culture.

The Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for Apprentice Spray Painter to join the team at Gemini Kingston.

You will be supported by our skilled team and acquire the knowledge of an automotive workshop and begin learning the step-by-step process of prepping, mixing, refinishing of automotive spray painting.

This position is permanent, full time. Monday to Friday

Role responsibilities

  • Colour match vehicle
  • Prep vehicle as per Job Sheet requirements following paint supplier’s process
  • Prime vehicle as per Job Sheet requirements following paint supplier’s process
  • Paint vehicle as per Job Sheet requirements following paint supplier’s process
  • Buff and denib vehicle as per Job Sheet
  • Upon request carry out minor/small repairs as per Job Sheet.
