Job summary

Crossmuller in Somersby is seeking an enthusiastic Apprentice Sheetmetal Worker to join our engineering team. This hands-on apprenticeship starts from day one in a state-of-the-art workshop where you will learn welding and operate CNC and manual equipment to fabricate sheetmetal and light structural parts.

You will complete a 4-year apprenticeship including TAFE studies, supported by a team that values safety, teamwork and personal development.

Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade (Light Fabrication)

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and ambitious Apprentice Sheetmetal Worker to join our Engineering team at Somersby.

The successful applicant will have the opportunity to learn on the job in our state-of-the-art workshop. Our Sheetmetal Workers are responsible for the fabrication of sheetmetal and light structural components. You will learn how to weld and operate a combination of modern CNC and manual equipment to produce your work.

To be successful in this role you need to be dedicated and strive to improve your knowledge and performance each and every day. Applicants must demonstrate a genuine interest for the industry and possess a passion for machinery.
