Job summary

JETT Plumbing & Roofing in Dandenong, VIC is seeking a dedicated Apprentice Plumber to join our growing team. This is a full-time apprenticeship providing hands-on experience in the plumbing trade, working alongside skilled tradespeople to learn essential skills and work toward a qualified plumber status.

You will assist with installation, repair, and maintenance in residential and commercial properties, learn safe use of tools, and participate in training sessions.

Responsibilities

• Assist experienced plumbers with the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems in residential and commercial properties
• Learn to use plumbing tools and equipment safely and correctly under supervision
• Help with the diagnosis and troubleshooting of plumbing problems
• Assist in the fitting of pipes, fixtures, and fittings in accordance with relevant standards and regulations
• Participate in preventative maintenance work and emergency call-outs when required
• Keep work areas clean, safe and organised, following all health and safety protocols
• Attend training sessions and complete required coursework as part of your apprenticeship
• Communicate effectively with team members and customers to ensure quality workmanship
• Gradually take on more complex tasks as your skills and confidence develop
