Job summary

Custom Heating & Cooling is seeking a motivated individual to start or continue a 1st Year Mechanical Plumbing Apprenticeship in Greater Melbourne, based in Pakenham. You’ll gain hands-on experience across ducted and wall split systems, add-on refrigerated cooling and evaporative cooling projects while working on both new and existing homes.

Ideal candidates will have a genuine interest in heating and cooling, a strong work ethic, reliability, and a willingness to learn.

Qualifications

• Genuine interest in heating and cooling.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.
• Willingness to learn and take feedback.
• White Card.
• Driver’s licence and vehicle.
• A pre-apprenticeship is preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation of heating and cooling systems in homes.
• Work with ducted and wall split systems on various projects.
• Gain experience across both new and existing homes during the apprenticeship.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure quality workmanship.
