Job summary

CMS Engineering is seeking an Apprentice Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Technician to join our Perth Service team. You’ll learn hands-on across commercial HVAC systems while completing a nationally recognised apprenticeship and gaining practical experience on site.

You’ll work with experienced technicians, complete your TAFE training, and develop safety, technical and customer service skills for a long-term HVAC career. Progression opportunities exist within BGIS and CMS Engineering.

• Mechanically minded with a hands-on approach.

Responsibilities

• Learn HVAC trade hands-on with qualified technicians.
• Assist with servicing, maintenance, repairs and breakdowns.
• Learn fault finding, diagnose problems and carry out repairs.
• Gain experience across HVAC and mechanical building services.
• Learn about electrical controls, refrigeration and BMS.
• Complete digital service reports and safety documentation.
• Follow SWMS and company procedures.
• Communicate with clients as part of a professional service team.
• Attend TAFE for ongoing training and development.
