JJ's Waste & Recycling invites motivated individuals to begin an apprenticeship as a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic. You will learn under experienced tradespeople and work toward a nationally recognised Certificate III in Heavy Vehicle Road Transport.
Apprenticeship is based in NSW, with day schedules Monday to Thursday 2:00pm–10:00pm and Friday 11:00am–7:00pm, reporting to the Workshop Manager. Drive-time exposure to brakes, steering, suspension and more awaits the right candidate.

We’re looking for a motivated and reliable individual to join our team as an Apprentice Heavy Vehicle Mechanic. This is an excellent opportunity to learn from experienced tradespeople while gaining practical skills and a nationally recognised qualification in the heavy vehicle industry (Certificate III Heavy Vehicle Road Transport).
You will report to the Workshop Manager and will learn to conduct all facets of preventative maintenance and repairs of heavy rigid vehicles including brakes, steering, suspension, hydraulics and fabrication.
We’re looking for a reliable, honest, and self-motivated individual with a strong sense of responsibility and teamwork. You will be eager to learn, able to quickly retain new skills and knowledge and adapt to new tasks and challenges with ease. Importantly, you must be interested in becoming a qualified Heavy Vehicle Mechanic and be ready and willing to commit to the apprenticeship.
All levels of experience are encouraged to apply.
Undertake a company pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screening.
A driver’s licence and your own vehicle are not essential.
