Job summary

Truck Centre WA is inviting applicants for its 2027 Apprentice Heavy Vehicle Mechanic intake across WA metro dealerships in Spearwood, Kewdale and Forrestfield. This is a hands-on, earn-while-you-learn opportunity in a thriving truck network.

You'll receive training in classroom and workshop, access to diagnostic equipment and tooling, and pathways to dual-trade apprenticeships.

Qualifications

• Interest in trucks, mechanics or heavy automotive.
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Minimum of Year 10 education.

What We're Looking For

You will ideally have:

• A genuine interest in trucks, mechanics or heavy automotive
• Mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn
• Strong reliability and commitment
• The ability to follow instructions and use initiative
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• A minimum of Year 10 education

Previous mechanical experience is great, but it's not essential - we're looking for attitude, aptitude and a willingness to learn.
