Job summary

Outlook Electrical & Communications Pty Ltd in Melbourne is seeking a motivated 2nd, 3rd or 4th Year Electrical Apprentice who is confident on the tools and eager to take the next step.

You’ll work across residential, commercial and medical environments on fault-finding, renovations, upgrades and maintenance, under the guidance of experienced electricians, with mentoring and a supportive team culture. This full-time role offers varied work and a clear path to progressing your apprenticeship.

Qualifications

• 2nd, 3rd or 4th Year Electrical Apprentice (current TAFE enrolment required).
• Strong experience in domestic electrical work.
• Has experience with fault-finding, switchboard work and testing.
• Strong communication skills and professional presentation in customers' homes.
• Good time management, attention to detail and initiative.
• Current driver's licence.

Responsibilities

• Completing and assisting with domestic and commercial electrical installations, maintenance and repairs
• Diagnosing and rectifying electrical faults
• Working on renovations, switchboards, lighting and compliance testing
• Managing smaller jobs from start to finish under supervision
• Communicating clearly with clients, other trades and the office
• Maintaining safe, tidy and organised work areas
