Job summary

Cummins Inc. in Western Australia is offering an Apprenticeship to learn how to diagnose and repair Cummins power generation engines under qualified technicians, with on-site training and real hands-on experience.

You'll complete a nationally recognized Certificate III and undertake structured TAFE/Training Organisation study while earning above award rates, and gaining exposure to a range of engines and products.

Qualifications

  • Must have a positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team.
  • Excellent language, literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Willingness to work across regional areas on Power Generation products.
  • Right to work in Australia and completion of year 12 or equivalent.

Responsibilities

  • Learn diagnosis and repair of Cummins power generation engines and products under supervision.
  • Gain hands-on experience with a range of engines and systems.
  • Complete on-the-job training and product-specific technical training.
  • Participate in structured off-the-job study to achieve Certificate III.

Working under the supervision of a qualified Cummins Electrical Technician, you will learn everything that comes with the diagnosis and repair of Cummins power generation engines and products.
