Job summary

Kalo Design Shopfitting pty ltd is seeking a driven and enthusiastic 1-3 year Apprentice joiner, cabinetmaker and shopfitter to join our team in Bankstown, NSW. This full-time role offers hands-on learning in carpentry and cabinet making, with a supportive environment and opportunities for skill development.

Responsibilities include assisting in the design, manufacture and installation of shop fittings, reading technical drawings, and undertaking workshop maintenance.

Qualifications

• Genuine interest and passion for carpentry, cabinet making and shopfitting.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Willingness to learn and develop skills.
• Basic knowledge of woodworking and ability to follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assist our experienced team in the design, manufacture and installation of shopfittings and cabinetry.
• Gain hands-on experience using power tools, machinery and hand tools.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, plans and specifications for accurate work.
• Undertake general workshop maintenance and cleaning duties.
• Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge.
