Job summary

Appian invites a skilled technology professional in Sydney to join the Business Technology team in an on‑site role. You will lead support and evolution of apps built on Appian’s platform, solving complex challenges, driving best practices, and partnering with developers and stakeholders across CRM and HR domains.

You will own production incidents, perform maintenance, and contribute to deployment handoffs while shaping scalable, reliable solutions in a collaborative, in‑person environment.

Qualifications

• Degree: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Information Systems, or related field.
• 3+ years in enterprise application support, data analysis, or similar environment.
• Proficient in SQL and data analysis; comfortable using AI tools to accelerate workflows.
• Strong analytical problem‑solving, excellent communication, and collaborative skills.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and resolve complex system anomalies; provide rapid workarounds and data analysis to identify root causes.
• Lead production resolution by coordinating across internal units to restore critical services.
• Perform routine environment maintenance and post-refresh validation for stable, secure sandboxes.
• Support deployment handoffs by testing during deployments and documenting defects.
• Maintain internal knowledge base and collaborate with Engineering on usability testing for new platform features.
