Job summary

Luxoft is seeking an Appian Architect with 15+ years of software engineering and 10+ years of Appian Architecture experience. You will define end-to-end architectures for large-scale solutions, lead architecture reviews, and drive enterprise integrations with SAP, Salesforce, Oracle, and more.

Qualifications

• Have 15+ years of software engineering experience with 10+ years in Appian Solution Architecture & Implementation.
• Demonstrate experience designing Appian solutions on Cloud/AWS/Azure/On Prem/Hybrid.
• Experience with Appian Process Models, Rules, Data Management, and RBAC on Appian 20.X+.

Responsibilities

• Define end-to-end architecture for large-scale Appian solutions with focus on quality and performance.
• Design scalable, reusable Appian-based solutions and establish standards and governance.
• Design integrations with SAP, Salesforce, Oracle, ServiceNow, MS Dynamics, legacy systems.

We are seeking an Appian Architect with over 10 years of experience to lead the design, development, and implementation of enterprise-scale Appian solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in Appian architecture, intelligent automation, workflow orchestration, integrations, and digital transformation initiatives.This role involves defining architectural standards, providing technical leadership, mentoring development teams, and ensuring the successful delivery of critical Appian programs. The Principal Appian Architect will work closely with business stakeholders, enterprise architects, product owners, delivery teams, and client leadership to design scalable, secure, and high-performing Appian applications that align with business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Define end-to-end architecture for large-scale Appian solutions based on prioritized stakeholder requirements ensuring highest quality and performance.
• Design, scalable, reusable, Appian based solutions as per the requirementsEstablish architecture standards, governance frameworks, and development best practices.
• Design integrations with enterprise systems such as but not limited to SAP, Salesforce, Oracle, Service Now, MS Dynamics, Legacy Systems.
• Build integration solutions using: REST APIs, SOAP Services, Web Services, Message Queues, ESB
• Lead technical design workshops and architecture review sessions.
• Design Appian solutions on Appian Cloud, AWS, Azure, On Prem, Hybrid Architectures
• Implement security, scalability, disaster recovery, and high availability solutions.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and DevOps teams.
• Create high-level and low-level solution architecture documents.
• Ensure solution alignment with enterprise architecture standards.
• Lead various aspects of solution delivery in partnership with internal teams and external partners.
• Proactively work with teams to assess and explore new technologies, conduct proof of concepts to test these and share with wider team within the Appian Practice.
• Proactively identify and communicate options and solution recommendations to business and IT leaders with benefits and drawbacks.
• Guide teams to build solutions according to industry standards, specifications and best practices.
• Take initiative to identify and communicate issues, risks, and progress to both business and IT stakeholders, presenting available options and recommend next steps.
• Collaborate with Appian team members throughout development, deployment, and support phases.

SKILLS

Must have

• Have 15+ years of software engineering experience with 10+ years of Appian Solution Architecture & Implementation experience, demonstrating proficiency in technologies like Appian, Scripting, Web API, REST API services, Java and JavaScript.
• Demonstrate experience in designing Appian solutions on Appian Cloud, AWS, Azure, On Prem, Hybrid Architectures
• Demonstrate experience in Appian Process Models, Rules & Expressions, Data Management including Complex Data Types, XSDs, SQL, Inter Process Communication, RBAC, and Process Reporting on Appian 20.X and above.
• Implement security, scalability, disaster recovery, and high availability solutions.
• Integration solutions using: REST APIs, SOAP Services, Web Services, Message Queues, ESB
• Showcase a robust grasp of database principles, coupled with practical experience in Stored Procs, MySQL or SQL Server.
• Possess relevant Appian Certification as per your experience level.
• Embrace an agile mindset and have a level of familiarization with Agile methodologies along with having a knack for crafting solutions that facilitate business process automation.
• Offer a blend of technical prowess, strong business acumen, leadership abilities, and a track record of effective knowledge transfer.
