Job summary

Alinta is a quality bespoke school uniform and sportswear manufacturer seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to join its Somersby-based team on the Central Coast. You will lead QA processes across design to delivery, collaborating with internal teams and offshore partners to ensure top quality garments.

Qualifications

• Qualification in fashion QA/garment technology or related industry knowledge
• 3+ years in QA technician role within apparel/manufacturing
• Advanced technical knowledge of garment construction, pattern making and grading
• Strong colour standards and matching protocols knowledge
• Understanding of industry quality standards including testing and labelling
• Proficient in MS365 (Word, Excel) and ability to learn a custom platform
• Self-managed with excellent time management
• Strong planning and organisational abilities
• Clear and confident communication and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated team leadership and staff development experience
• Ability to multitask and adapt in a dynamic environment

Responsibilities

• Oversee quality assurance systems across all garment production stages.
• Ensure fabrics, construction, patterns, trims meet quality standards.
• Liaise with offshore factories on fit, pattern and workmanship feedback.
• Maintain colour matching benchmarks for fabrics and trims.
• Develop and communicate Alinta SOPs for technical accuracy.
• Approve styles for bulk production ensuring consistent fit and finish.
• Troubleshoot quality issues and coordinate testing and approvals.
• Collaborate with QA team to foster accountability and excellence.
• Manage multiple tasks and respond to planned and unplanned events.
• Align QA workflow with department priorities.
