JD Sports in Merrylands, NSW seeks an energetic Department Supervisor to lead a busy department, drive exceptional customer service, and uphold visual merchandising standards. You will coach your team, ensure product availability, and support the store management in delivering strong sales results.

Ideal candidates have 2-3 years in retail, a passion for service, and a positive, motivating leadership style.

THE ROLE

This role is rostered across Sunday to Thursday with varying shift times. By applying, you’re confirming your availability to work across these days.

At JD Sports, our customer is at the heart of everything we do. As aDepartment Supervisor, you will support the store management team by leading your department in providing exceptional customer service to every JD customer. You will be responsible for maintaining the merchandising & visual standards and sales results within your department. Leading by example, you will coach and develop your team to deliver great in-store experiences.

As a Department Supervisor, you will be responsible for, but not limited to:

Model exceptional customer service, every customer, every time

Support and guide team to deliver exceptional service and a ‘service over task’ environment

Actively gain, maintain and share product & brand knowledge for your department

Support management team to improve financial performance within your department

Work with back of house team to ensure product availability

Uphold company standards and deliver store visual excellence
