Job summary

A small Federal Government agency in Canberra is seeking an API Developer to design, build and support secure, scalable REST APIs for health information exchange across Australia’s digital health ecosystem.

You will work in a complex integration environment, developing modern RESTful APIs, contributing to cloud-native delivery practices and improving interoperability between clinical and administrative systems.

Qualifications

• HL7 FHIR experience and healthcare app delivery.
• Java development with REST API design focus.
• Experience implementing OAuth security and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with containerised environments (Docker/Kubernetes).
