Job summary

Vantage is seeking a commercially driven Director, Renewable Energy & CleanTech Solutions to lead its energy strategy across APAC. You will originate, structure and negotiate complex energy transactions, including PPAs and strategic partnerships, to support data center growth.

The role requires 15+ years in renewables with strong leadership, stakeholder management and APAC market knowledge, working across utilities, developers and government entities to deploy innovative energy solutions.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in renewable energy, power, utilities, energy markets or related sectors.
• Experience delivering large-scale renewable projects including wind, solar and BESS.
• Experience structuring and executing PPAs, BTM connections, BESS and on-site generation.
• Strong knowledge of behind-the-meter solutions, microgrids, energy storage, hydrogen and on-site generation.
• Deep understanding of APAC electricity market, grid connections, regulations and market dynamics.
• Experience supporting data centers, digital infrastructure or other mission-critical developments.
• Proven ability to build strategic partnerships with utilities, developers, regulators, investors and technology providers.
• Degree in Engineering, Energy, Business, Finance or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead renewable energy and clean technology projects from origination through development, construction, commissioning and commercial operation.
• Coordinate stakeholders to manage permitting, approvals, utility interfaces, interconnection and project risks.
• Develop and manage large-scale campus energy strategies with behind-the-meter generation and renewable integration.
• Build executive relationships with utilities, regulators, government agencies and technology providers across APAC.
• Negotiate complex energy transactions including PPAs and strategic energy partnerships.
• Provide market intelligence and investment guidance on energy markets, pricing trends and emerging technologies.
