Job summary

Munich Re Specialty - Global Markets APAC is expanding pricing leadership across APAC. You will guide pricing governance, lead actuarial analyses, and influence underwriting decisions to drive profitable growth while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Ideal candidates bring 10+ years of pricing expertise in specialty insurance, strong Excel and pricing tools, and a proven ability to mentor teams in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Qualified Actuary with FIA/FCAS or equivalent.
• 10+ years pricing experience in commercial/specialty insurance.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee APAC pricing framework and governance.
• Act as actuarial lead for APAC pricing and portfolio performance.
• Lead actuarial investigations and portfolio reviews including inflation and risks.
• Provide independent challenge to underwriting strategies and pricing decisions.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and good conduct for customers.
• Mentor actuaries and pricing analysts within APAC pricing team.
• Collaborate with global pricing and underwriting teams to enhance methodologies.
