Community Operations (CommOps) is the heart and soul of our #BuildWithHeart approach at Uber. We work with customers, people earning money on the platform, and various partners (regulators, unions, external parties) at enormous scale. You will be a part of Global Compliance & Access Operations team, ensuring our processes, policies, products are compliant with the prevailing norms of the Asia-Pacific region (APAC) while delivering empathetic, timely and relevant support to the users on the Uber platform.
You will lead the core compliance / regulatory program in APAC, primarily Australia and New Zealand (ANZ). You will cover long-term strategy creation to execution, ensuring the programs are delivered on time, within scope and to a high standard. The role also covers regulatory support for Taiwan. You will also act as a Platform Integrity (PI) POC / Leader for ANZ Leadership, managing areas of Safety, Regulatory / Compliance, and Escalated Deactivation Review (EDR) process via direct reports & PI cross-functional (XFN) teams.
