Job summary

Verifone seeks an APAC Compliance Lead to ensure regulatory compliance and oversee risk management across Verifone’s APAC entities, including outsourced operations. You’ll partner with internal teams and regulators, guiding ABAC, third‑party due diligence, and payments regulation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in legal, law or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of compliance experience in APAC, preferably in payments/fintech/financial services.
• Strong knowledge of ABAC regulations (FCPA, UK Bribery Act, APAC local laws).
• Experience with third‑party due diligence, sanctions, and risk management.
• Ability to engage with regulatory bodies in APAC and manage complex compliance frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance across APAC entities, including outsourced compliance and risk functions.
• Act as liaison with APAC regulatory agencies alongside the Compliance team.
• Provide advisory support on regulatory requirements, focusing on ABAC and payments regulation.
• Lead and manage Anti‑Bribery & Anti‑Corruption programs (FCPA, UK Bribery Act, OECD).
• Oversee ABAC casework, including gifts, conflicts of interest, and related approvals.
• Manage third‑party due diligence programs covering distributors, agents, suppliers, and partners.
