Business Show Media Pty Ltd is a leading company that organises some of the largest business events worldwide. Our focus is on supporting SMEs and startups by providing them with the services and products necessary for their success.

We recently expanded our global series into Australia, launching a new edition of the event from our growing office in Sydney.

Role Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing team, as a part of a new project, with opportunities for progression. We are looking for a confident individual who will look to develop their career within the company with a view to becoming part of the leadership team within the office.

You will be responsible for managing and developing client relationships and ensuring client satisfaction. You will also collaborate with operations, marketing and sales to deliver excellent customer service and assist in organising and coordinating events.

Responsibilities include
  • Introductory video call meetings to onboard new exhibitors
  • Daily communication with clients / exhibitors over the phone and via email
  • Ensuring exhibitors adhere to submission deadlines for documents and media and that invoices are paid on time
  • Management of the exhibitor portal
  • On-site support to the operations department at exhibitions, depending on the size of the event
Required Skills & Experience
  • Previous experience in client relationship management or account management
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients
  • Knowledge of the business events industry is beneficial but not required
Salary
  • $52,000
Additional Pay
  • Bonus pay structure - up to $12,000 per year

Visa Eligibility

This is a full time role and we're looking for somebody to start immediately and then take control of the department in the new year. Students & Working Holiday visas need not apply.
