Framestore’s Melbourne studio is hiring an Animator for a short-term contract running January to March 2027. You will work with Animation Leads to produce high-quality keyframe animation for show sequences, focusing on both primary and secondary characters within the studio’s style and pacing.

The ideal candidate has experience in a similar role, thorough knowledge of Maya, and an understanding of motion, weight, and rig setups.

Qualificações

• Previous experience in a similar role.
• Thorough knowledge of Maya.
• Understanding of physical motion, weight, balance, texture, and form.
• Understanding of typical rigging set-ups and animation pipelines.
• Open to direction and able to embrace change.
• Reliable with good timekeeping and ability to meet deadlines.
• Committed to creative collaboration.

Responsabilidades

• Animate both primary and secondary characters and elements.
• Meet schedules and deadlines with Production Leads regarding timelines.
• Work as part of a team or independently to complete shots.
• Submit shots for review and address notes and feedback.
