Job summary

The City of Whittlesea is seeking an Animal Attendant at the Civic Centre to join the Animal Care team on casual basis. You will provide daily care for a variety of animals, including feeding, cleaning, enrichment, and record-keeping, and assist with veterinary needs as required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide daily animal care including feeding, cleaning, exercise, enrichment and husbandry.
  • Monitor animal health, behaviour and well-being and report concerns.
  • Administer prescribed medications and assist with veterinary care as needed.
  • Provide friendly, professional and compassionate customer service.
  • Maintain accurate animal records.
