Job summary

Bendigo Day Surgery, part of Cura Day Hospitals Group, is seeking a Registered Nurse with experience in anaesthetics to join us on a part-time or casual basis. The role requires strong anaesthetic knowledge and high standards of patient care.

You will work within a multi-disciplinary team, demonstrate excellent infection control practices, and maintain ongoing professional development in a dynamic surgical environment in Bendigo, Victoria.

Qualifications

• 2 years post graduate experience with at least 1-year clinical experience essential in anaesthetics.
• Knowledge in the field of high-tech medical equipment; specifically, Anaesthetic machine - care, maintenance and problem solving
• Exceptional clinical skills
• Ability to respond to appropriately to emergency situations
• Understanding of the principles of Infection Control, essential
• Evidence of ongoing Professional Development
• Knowledge of and adherence to safe work practices
• The ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team
• High level of written and verbal communication skills
• An enthusiastic approach in the delivery of a high standard of nursing care
