Job summary

Lion Pty Ltd is seeking an Anaplan Developer to join the Commercial Enablement team in a full-time capacity. You will translate business needs into fit-for-purpose Anaplan solutions, ensuring reliable data, reporting outcomes and user-friendly processes across Australia and New Zealand.

You will collaborate with Planning, Revenue Growth Management, Sales and Finance to align data flows with SAP and Power BI, deliver effective planning cycles and support decision-making through robust modeling

Qualifications

• Experience in business analysis, commercial planning, financial planning or Anaplan solution delivery.
• Strong capability in requirements gathering, process analysis, functional specification and solution design.
• Working knowledge of Anaplan models, calculations, workflows, user views and access requirements.
• Experience coordinating QA, UAT, defect resolution, release readiness and implementation validation.

Responsibilities

• Translate commercial planning, forecasting, pricing and reporting needs into clear business requirements, priorities and acceptance criteria.
• Build alignment across business, reporting and technical stakeholders on expected outcomes, risks and decisions.
• Analyse current and future-state processes to identify gaps, controls and opportunities to improve planning quality and usability.
• Define functional specifications, business rules, process flows and data requirements.
• Convert approved requirements into effective Anaplan model, workflow, calculation, user-view and reporting changes.
• Ensure solutions align with commercial processes, system standards and agreed user outcomes.
• Coordinate testing and UAT and validate calculations, workflows, data and reporting outputs.
• Manage issues, risks, decisions and release readiness through implementation and post-release review.
• Align Anaplan, SAP and Power BI data flows, definitions and reporting logic with business requirements.
• Maintain clear documentation and user guidance to support adoption and effective planning cycles.

Job description

We are looking for an Anaplan Developer to join Lion’s Commercial Enablement team in a full-time position.

Reporting to the Planning Specialist, this role will help enable effective commercial planning and decision-making across Lion by translating business needs into fit-for-purpose Anaplan solutions, reliable data and reporting outcomes, and clear processes that improve user experience and execution.

Working across Australia and New Zealand, you will support Commercial Enablement, Revenue Growth Management, Sales and Finance planning, with exposure across Anaplan, SAP data flows, Power BI reporting and broader cross-functional planning processes.

What You’ll Be Doing

Skills, Experience and Knowledge Required

• Experience in business analysis, commercial planning, financial planning or Anaplan solution delivery.
• Strong capability in requirements gathering, process analysis, functional specification and solution design.
• Working knowledge of Anaplan models, calculations, workflows, user views and access requirements.
• Experience coordinating QA, UAT, defect resolution, release readiness and implementation validation.
• Strong data and reporting capability across planning systems.
• Commercial understanding of forecasting, scenario planning, pricing, product setup or revenue growth management.
• Strong stakeholder communication, facilitation and documentation skills, with the ability to influence across functions.
• SAP/S4 and Power BI knowledge would be beneficial.
• Strong data and digital capability, adaptive thinking and the ability to use technology to improve planning quality and business decision-making.
