Job summary

Linkforce Engineering is seeking an Analytics Engineer for a permanent, full-time position based at our CBD head office in Perth. You will build reusable data marts, define KPIs with stakeholders, and shape raw data into trusted models using SQL Server and PostgreSQL, enabling consumption via SSRS, Tableau and Superset.

You will collaborate across the Technology and Innovation Team, partner with business leaders and technical teams, and contribute to governance, testing, and data quality checks.

The Role

We now have the opportunity for an Analytics Engineer to join our Technology and Innovation Team on a permanent full-time basis. Based at our CBD Head Office, you will be working collaboratively and closely with the entire team and responsible for:

Creating reusable data marts, semantic layers and reporting datasets
Defining and documenting KPIs so reports use the same logic
Shaping raw data into clean, tested models using SQL Server and PostgreSQL
Preparing trusted datasets for SSRS, Tableau and Apache SuperSet consumption
Supporting quality checks, reconciliation and business sign-off

What You will Need

Advanced SQL capability with strong modelling discipline.
Commercial experience with dimensional modelling, star schemas or reporting marts
Ability to define and align KPIs with stakeholders
Strong documentation and data definition practices
Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with confidence partnering across business Leaders and technical teams
Experience in mining, workforce, project performance, maintenance, or asset reporting environments is highly desirable
Tableau, SSRS, or Superset exposure is an advantage as well as dbt, data catalogue, testing or governance practices
