Job summary

CSIRO is seeking an Analytics Business Analyst to translate business challenges into meaningful data solutions. You will work with stakeholders, data professionals and technical teams to understand questions, explore opportunities and shape analytics that support better decisions.

You'll contribute to requirements analysis, data storytelling, dashboards and testing, with opportunities to apply AI-assisted analysis and rapid prototyping as part of evolving data services within the Enterprise

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in business analysis, requirements gathering or related discipline.
• Ability to translate stakeholder needs into clear requirements and artefacts.
• Analytical thinker with problem-solving skills for data problems and practical solutions.
• Experience undertaking testing and data validation to ensure accurate solutions.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement across technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Engage with stakeholders to understand business challenges and translate needs into clear requirements and potential solutions.
• Contribute to dashboards, visualisations and rapid prototypes to support better decisions.
• Investigate data, document business rules and perform testing and reconciliation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and communicate insights and recommendations.
