You will gain exposure to sourcing, deal execution, and portfolio management across APAC, liaising with management and external experts while delivering rigorous financial analysis.

Qualifications

• Up to 2 years of experience in a top-tier investment bank, management consulting, M&A advisory, or similar investment firm.
• Excellent financial modelling capabilities, including financial statement analysis, valuation, forecasting and scenario analysis.
• Highly inquisitive nature and motivation to learn about a diverse range of industries.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to present key insights to senior stakeholders.
• Team player approach and able to excel in a fast paced and challenging work environment.
• High energy level with the desire to contribute to the ongoing success and expansion of the Principal Finance group at Macquarie.

Responsibilities

• Experience significant deal flow and exposure to every stage of the deal cycle, from sourcing to deal execution and ongoing portfolio management.
• Conduct fundamental company and industry research, liaise with management teams, external experts and in-house resources.
• Deliver sound financial analysis and actively participate in structuring deals, running diligence workstreams and origination activities, alongside Directors.
