Your experience at Deel will be a career accelerator. At the forefront of the global work revolution, you'll tackle complex challenges that impact millions of people's working lives. With our momentum—backed by a $17.3 billion valuation and $1 B in Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) in just over five years—you'll drive meaningful impact while building expertise that makes you a sought-after leader in the transformation of global work.

The Analyst, ORAIE is a hands-on operator in Deel's Operational Risk Management (ORM) team. This is not a traditional risk analyst role. It is a fast solutioner role with an operational lens, where risk is the canvas and problem-solving with AI tools is the operating mode. The role focuses on owning workstreams and incidents end to end, building the AI and low-code automation the enterprise needs, and delivering outcomes that stand up to enterprise scrutiny.

Responsibilities

Own the day-to-day execution of Deel's Operational Risk Management workstreams such as Operational Resilience, Product Ops and Third-Party.

Turn framework artifacts (policies, procedures, guidance) into operating tools the business actually uses.

Drive risk assessments, control identification, and evidence collection end to end. Do not wait for handoffs.

Facilitate cross-functional risk sessions directly, prepare structured pre-reads, and land action items with owners.

Build and maintain the data, KRIs, and dashboards your workstream needs. If the automation does not exist, build it.

Drive open risks and issues to written closure. Documentation and evidence come from execution rather than coordination.

Produce leadership-ready risk analysis and reporting that lands the first time.

Own the accuracy and timing of your reporting. Fix the source over the symptom.

Embed operational risk into product and engineering change initiatives from the start.

Research and integrate emerging operational risks into the workstreams you own.

Promote consistent operating discipline through written updates, reusable tooling, and clear documentation.

Qualifications

Demonstrated expertise in operational risk management with proven ability to independently manage end-to-end risk assessments, control frameworks, and stakeholder engagement. Experience in operational risk, business operations, compliance, or similar functions is required. We value capability demonstrated through applied work—whether gained in operational risk programs, business operations, consulting, or comparable fast-paced, complex environments.

Curiosity about risk and the operational problems it exposes (bad process, missed signals, broken accountability). Hands-on experience with operational risk programs including RCSAs, KRIs, incident management, third-party risk, operational resilience, or change risk management. Familiarity with any of these is a plus.

Strong attention to detail with experience managing structured risk data and analytical skills to identify patterns and trends.

Regular, practical use of AI tools in your workflow (Claude, agent platforms, Cursor, or equivalent) for analysis, automation, or problem-solving. Portfolio examples or demonstrations of recent projects using these tools are preferred. We're looking for someone who integrates AI into their daily work, not someone exploring it as an experiment.

Hands-on experience building or maintaining workflows in Zapier, Workbench, or similar low-code automation platforms. Ability to script when needed (Python, SQL basics).

Clear written and verbal communication for reports and stakeholder interactions.

Professional certifications (e.g., ORM, CRISC, FRM) are desirable but not required.
