Job summary

Aberdeen is seeking a qualified finance professional to assist in asset management for Sydney-based portfolio project and holding companies. The role involves ESG reporting, analysis of financials, and coordination of quarterly valuations under supervision.

The successful candidate will support investment opportunities, enhance value across investments and contribute to reporting and audits. Degree in Finance-related field and familiarity with PPP is preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree in Economics, Accounting, Commerce or Finance preferred.
• Knowledge of Australia/NZ PPP infrastructure sector is a plus.
• Understanding of Australian/NZ PPP legal framework and accounting/tax is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist in ongoing asset management of portfolio project and holding companies.
• Support ESG and sustainability reporting.
• Analyze operational reports, board reports, management accounts, and counterparty financials.
• Participate in quarterly portfolio valuations and transition to ownership of financial models.
• Support in evaluating new investment opportunities.
• Contribute to value enhancement initiatives across investments.

• Assist in annual funds external auditing and third-party valuations.
• Assist with tax compliance processes for investments and funds.
• Support relationship management with project management teams, co-sponsors, and advisors.
