Job summary

The Department

The Anaesthesia Department is fully accredited for specialist training and delivers a comprehensive and high-quality service across the hospital, including:

• Pre-admission assessment clinics
• Acute Pain Service rounds
• Anaesthesia and sedation for medical and procedural services

The department has a strong teaching culture and supports a broad multidisciplinary training cohort, including:

• Queensland Anaesthesia Rotational Training Scheme (QARTS) trainees
• College of Intensive Care Medicine (CICM) trainee
• Rural Generalist trainee
• Principal House Officers (PHOs)
• Junior House Officers (JHOs)
• Dedicated Acute Pain Service Nurse
