Me Medical Recruitment is seeking Senior Staff Specialists or Staff Specialists in Anaesthetics for a Permanent Full-Time position in tropical North Queensland. The role encompasses inpatient and outpatient care across multiple specialties within a well‑equipped hospital setting, supported by emergency, ICU and allied health teams.

Ideal candidates hold FANZCA or SIMG status assessed by ANZCA, and are eligible to practice in Australia.

Competenze

• FANZCA or SIMG assessment by ANZCA as Substantially Comparable or Partially Comparable
• Anaesthetists trained in the UK, Canada or the USA assessed by the college on specialist pathway
• Eligible to practice anaesthetics in Australia; pathways from UK/Canada/USA considered

Position Overview

We are seeking Senior Staff Specialists or Staff Specialists in Anaesthetics to provide high-quality clinical services in a busy and well-integrated hospital environment. The role includes inpatient and outpatient care across general medicine, surgery, orthopaedics, obstetrics & gynaecology, and mental health, supported by emergency, intensive care, and allied health services.

• Type: Full-Time or Part-Time (Flexible)
• Location: Regional Queensland
• Classification: L18–L24, L25–L27
• Remuneration: Up to $528,464 p.a. (inclusive of allowances and benefits)
