Job summary

MedRecruit Limited is seeking a locum anaesthetist to cover a 160-bed hospital on Australia’s East Coast for 7-13 December 2026. Located 170 km north of Newcastle, the hospital offers Radiology, Ultrasound, Orthopaedics, Physiotherapy, Pharmacy and Pathology, set in the Manning River region rich with outdoor and dining options.

The role includes shifts varying from theatre lists to on‑call duties. Travel reimbursement and accommodation are provided; all rates are inclusive of superannuation,

• Must have current AHPRA registration as a medical practitioner.

Responsibilities

• Provide anaesthetic services for theatre lists and on-call duties during the locum period.
• Cover shifts as scheduled (theatre lists and on-call).
• Travel reimbursement and accommodation provided for the assignment.
