Job summary

Healthscope's Nepean Private Hospital in Penrith invites experienced Registered Nurses to join the Anaesthetics team with full-time or part-time roles. Flexible rostering and a supportive perioperative group help you balance patient care with your lifestyle.

You will work across theatres with a focus on safe, evidence-based nursing, with two years RN experience in anaesthetic nursing and current AHPRA registration. NSW health standards and teamwork are emphasized for ongoing professional growth.

Qualifications

• 2 years RN experience in Anaesthetic Nursing
• Current Registration with AHPRA (no restrictions)
• Working with Children check
• Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
• Self-motivated and strong teamwork
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, researched-based standards of nursing care
• Supervise, direct and guide nursing team members; ENs and AINs to deliver patient care
• Deliver education and support to individuals/patients for recovery or end of life needs
• Lead quality improvement and safety projects to deliver outcomes
• Work collaboratively with the wider healthcare team to support patient care needs
• Act as a role model for Safe Practice
• Contribute to high quality patient care and continuous improvement
