Job summary

Central Adelaide Local Health Network (CALHN) seeks a Medical Practitioner to join the Anaesthesia team at the Royal Adelaide Hospital, Adelaide. You will deliver safe anaesthetic and peri-operative care while collaborating with consultants, nurses and allied health professionals in the ARR C and PARC research initiatives.

You will review patient care, contribute to teaching and support continuing education, with a focus on maintaining high clinical standards and developing anaesthesia research

Qualifications

• Must be eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
• Postgraduate experience in general patient care is expected.
• Apply sound clinical standards and communicate effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
• Commit to ongoing professional development and quality care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe anaesthetic and peri-operative care.
• Review patient care and strengthen clinical quality.
• Contribute to postgraduate and departmental teaching.
• Support continuing education across the department.
• Develop and conduct anaesthesia research initiatives.
