Job summary

G’day Group is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain a clean and welcoming environment across its Australian parks. You will clean communal areas, assist with linen, and support guest accommodation cleaning while upholding safety and hygiene standards.

The role requires reliable, detail-oriented individuals who can work efficiently and independently across a 7-day roster, including weekends and public holidays, with training provided and opportunities for progression.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping or commercial cleaning experience.
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
• Able to work efficiently and independently.
• Excellent time management.
• Willing to work across weekends and public holidays.
• Physically able to perform lifting up to 20 kg and handle chemicals safely.

Responsibilities

• Regularly clean communal facilities and public areas to high hygiene standards.
• Assist with linen upkeep and replenish cleaning supplies.
• Clean guest accommodation as required by operations.
• Interact with guests professionally and address cleanliness queries.
• Follow health and safety regulations at all times.
• Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure consistency of cleanliness and service.

The Role

Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Regularly clean communal facilities, including public ablutions, ensuring high hygiene standards and reporting any maintenance issues
• Assist with linen upkeep and replenish cleaning supplies
• Assist with guest accommodation cleaning as required
• Interact with guests professionally, addressing cleanliness-related enquiries
• Follow health and safety regulations
• Work with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure consistent cleanliness and service

What we're looking for

A housekeeper dedicated to maintaining a clean and welcoming environment and who takes pride in providing exceptional service

• Previous experience in a housekeeping role or commercial cleaning capacity
• Attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness.
• Ability to work efficiently and independently.
• Excellent time management skills
• Flexibility to work hours over a 7 day roster, including weekends and public holidays
• Enthusiastic with the ability to work in a physically demanding environment
