Job summary

MedRecruit Limited is seeking a Consultant/Specialist to cover a locum position from 1 to 11 December 2026 at a busy acute regional hospital in inland New South Wales. The role involves on-call duties and travel with accommodation provided.

Travel and accommodation are included and rates are inclusive of superannuation and casual loading where applicable. You must hold current AHPRA registration as a medical practitioner and work across a range of services in a rural setting.

Qualifications

• Must have current AHPRA registration as a medical practitioner.
• Locum coverage with on-call responsibilities.
• Travel and accommodation provided.

Responsibilities

• On-call duties across acute services as required.
• Support ED and surgical services during the shift.
