Job summary

Accent Aluminium Windows and Doors is seeking a Window and Door Production Assembler in Bayswater North VIC to support fabrication and assembly of aluminium windows, doors and flyscreens. You will help maintain safety, quality and production standards while working with a collaborative team.

Key duties include assembling frames and components, assisting fabrication and loading/unloading materials, and supporting site deliveries when needed. Training and development opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Experience in fabrication and assembly is desirable.
• Must be able to read and speak English to a functional level.
• Demonstrate excellent teamwork and ability to work cooperatively.
• Punctual and reliable, with a strong sense of responsibility.
• Open and adaptable to working in a culturally diverse environment.
• Experience in aluminium door/window industry is preferred but not essential.

About the Role:

We are seeking a reliable Window and Door Production Assembler to assist with the fabrication and assembly of aluminium windows, doors and flyscreens, while maintaining quality, safety and production standards.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Assemble aluminium frame doors and windows with accuracy and efficiency

Assemble flyscreen, window, and door components

Assist with fabrication of windows and doors

Assist with loading and unloading materials and products

Assisting with delivery to site as and when/if required

Assist with glazing units

General workshop cleaning and maintenance

Work collaboratively with the team to meet production targets and maintain high quality standards.

Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge

Identify and perform repairs or rework on defective frames and parts

Contribute to a safe and inclusive work environment, respecting a diversity of cultures and backgrounds.

Requirements

Previous experience in fabrication and assembly work is desirable
