Job summary

STRAND is seeking an Allocator or Junior Planner for a 6‑month contract at our Pyrmont Head Office. You will support planners by ensuring products reach stores at the right time, analysing sales patterns and balancing inventory across channels.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in allocations or inventory, experience in Retail or Fashion (preferred), and strong Excel/data analysis skills. This role offers a collaborative, fast‑paced environment with cross‑functional teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Execute regular inventory allocations based on store needs and grading
• Monitor stock levels and process replenishments for core and continuity products
• Support new product launches with accurate allocations
• Analyse sales and sell‑through to adjust allocations in‑season
• Prepare allocation reports and flag potential issues
• Assist with stock balancing, inventory transfers, and clearance strategies
• Liaise with distribution centres and store teams to ensure timely deliveries
• Maintain allocation rules and data in planning systems

Join STRAND as a Allocator or Junior Planner on a 6 month contract.

We're looking for a detail‐driven and proactive Allocator or Junior Planner to join our Planning team at our Pyrmont Head Office.

In this role, you'll support multiple Planners by ensuring the right products get to the right stores at the right time. You'll analyse sales patterns, monitor stock levels, and manage allocations to maximise sales, minimise out‐of‐stocks, and keep inventory balanced across all channels.

What You'll Be Doing
