Western Health is seeking a part-time Allied Health Assistant to join the Community Occupational Therapy team. The role involves supporting clients to stay independent at home in Melton and Bacchus Marsh, under the supervision of experienced Occupational Therapists.
You will assist with assessments for aids and equipment, support daily family-care tasks, and help run education programs. A Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance is required and strong communication skills are essential.
About the role:
Permanent part time (45.6hrs) Allied Health Assistant position working with the Community Occupational Therapy team. Our Community Occupational Therapy team of Occupational Therapists and Allied Health Assistants providing support to clients within the communities of Melton and Bacchus Marsh to remain and independent in their homes as possible.
The team works closely with the wider multidisciplinary team supporting clients to achieve their individualised goals and optimise their function and independence within the home and community. You will be well supported by an experienced team of Occupational Therapists.
