Plena Healthcare is seeking an Allied Health Assistant to support physiotherapists and occupational therapists in delivering high-quality clinical services within Residential Aged Care settings. Responsibilities

• Deliver all physiotherapy services in accordance with Plena Healthcare procedures and policies.
• Service RAC clients per the Allied Health Professionals treatment plan.
• Under direction of physiotherapists/occupational therapists, transport residents to and from the therapy gym area or appointments.
• Set up and pack away the physiotherapy gym, including cleaning area and equipment.
• Collect referrals and perform other administrative tasks as guided by physiotherapists.
• Order prescribed equipment.
• Run exercise groups/programs.
• Support initiatives to meet client/contract expectations.
• Consult with the physiotherapist/occupational therapist on adaptations/changes/progressions of treatment plans.
• Participate in mentoring, supervision and appraisals per Plena Healthcare policy.
