Job summary

Star Aviation is seeking a Customer Service Supervisor at Western Sydney International Airport to lead a busy team and ensure safe, professional service for our client airline. You will coach staff, monitor on‑the‑ground performance and resolve customer concerns with a focus on safety and efficiency.

You will liaise with airport authorities and airline representatives, manage wheelchair assistance needs, and drive continuous improvements in service delivery in a fast-paced aviation environment.

Qualifications

• Customer-focused leadership experience in a service or aviation context.
• Ability to coach, develop and manage a team to deliver high standards.
• Knowledge of health and safety obligations and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee customer service functions for client airlines.
• First level performance management of staff and customer issues.
• Engage with airport authorities, government agencies, airline representatives and other ground service providers.
• Monitor and improve the customer service delivery process.
• Collect and reconcile airline revenue as per airline requirements.
• Manage and motivate a team of customer service agents.
• Provide training and develop policies to ensure consistent service delivery.
• Ensure compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
• Assist passengers needing wheelchair assistance and operate related equipment.
• Operate equipment such as aerobridges and passenger assistance devices.
• Maintain effective communication with other departments and stakeholders.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
