Job summary

Panasonic Avionics Corporation invites applications for a Melbourne-based Maintenance Services Representative at Melbourne Airport. The MSR role covers aircraft/IFE maintenance, defect rectification, and documentation, with duties spanning troubleshooting, spares tracking, and post-maintenance support.

Applicants must hold relevant aeroskills certification and LAME/engineer licensing, with CAS/FAA credentials preferred. International travel up to 25% may be required.

Qualifications

• Must have Australian licensing/qualifications to satisfy regulatory licensing.
• Minimum experience as licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer.
• Ability to obtain red ASIC and pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Identify, dismantle, inspect, test and repair aircraft parts, engines and electrical systems.
• Inspect and install electrical circuits and replace defective modules and cabling.
• Troubleshoot and rectify defects using BIT and manual testing.
• Rectify defects to meet maintenance requirements and ensure airworthiness.
• Maintain records of inspections, repairs, and replacements with documentation systems.
• Respond to defects found during inspections and log them in the technical records.

Education

AQF Certificate IV in aeroskills or trade certificate in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering or equivalent

CASA/EASA/ FAA A&P licensing/ qualifications
