Cathay Pacific Airways Limited in Melbourne is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Technician to perform operational duties ensuring safe and reliable travel experiences. You will inspect, service and maintain Cathay Group and third-party aircraft under supervision, support QA and regulatory compliance, and participate in safety training and continuous improvement initiatives.

The role requires high school completion, a Certificate IV or Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance / Engineering, and willing to

Competenze

• Demonstrably aptitude and understanding of aircraft maintenance operations
• Experience with wide-body aircraft types (B787, B777, A350, A330, B747-8 Freighter)
• Induction/training on the job including safety, procedures and human factors

Mansioni

• Perform aircraft maintenance for Cathay Group aircraft and third party customers under supervision
• Monitor third party supplier performance and rectify issues promptly
• Support contingency plans, diversions and major disruption recovery
• Perform servicing and maintenance for station ground equipment and facilities
• Assist with station administration and ensure documentation is up to date
• Ensure compliance with local OH&S standards

Role Introduction

To perform operational functions ensuring delivery of a safe and exceptionally reliable travel experience that supports our brand and business whilst meeting all compliance and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Accountabilities

Academic Qualifications
