AI Solution Delivery Lead - Brisbane | 12-month Contract

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced AI Solution Delivery Lead to provide technical leadership across the design, development and implementation of enterprise AI solutions.

Working across Microsoft Azure and AWS, this role will translate business requirements and AI opportunities into secure, scalable and supportable solutions. You will work closely with business stakeholders, solution architects, cloud and platform teams, data specialists and security functions throughout the delivery lifecycle.

This is a hands‑on technical leadership role suited to an experienced AI Engineer, AI Technical Lead or Solution Architect with a strong understanding of modern AI platforms and enterprise technology environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop AI-enabled solutions across Microsoft and AWS platforms.
• Build AI applications, agents, copilots and automation solutions.
• Translate business requirements into technical architectures, workflows, agent designs and integration patterns.
• Develop proof‑of‑concepts, pilots and production‑ready AI solutions.
• Provide technical leadership across the full AI solution delivery lifecycle.
• Develop reusable AI architectures, design patterns, components and implementation standards.
• Configure and extend platforms including:
• AWS Bedrock
• Implement agent orchestration, prompt engineering, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), knowledge grounding and retrieval mechanisms.
• Design and implement integrations with enterprise applications, APIs, data sources and knowledge repositories.
• Work with Data & Analytics teams to support data quality, accessibility and governance.
• Collaborate with cloud, infrastructure, identity and security teams to enable AI workloads.
• Identify and resolve technical risks, issues and dependencies throughout delivery.
• Support testing, deployment, configuration and performance optimisation.
• Ensure AI solutions meet security, privacy, architecture and Responsible AI requirements.
• Support FAIRA, risk assessment, assurance and governance activities.
• Produce technical documentation, deployment guides and operational support artefacts.
• Mentor developers, solution builders and business teams in the effective use of AI platforms.
• Contribute to AI technical standards, communities of practice and capability uplift.

About You

You will be an experienced AI or technology professional with a strong background in designing and delivering enterprise technology solutions.

You will ideally have:

• Demonstrated experience in AI engineering and solution development.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio and Azure AI services.
• Hands‑on experience with Azure AI Foundry and/or Azure OpenAI.
• Experience with AWS Bedrock and cloud‑native AI services.
• Strong understanding of AI agents, orchestration and prompt engineering.
• Practical experience implementing RAG and knowledge‑grounded AI solutions.
• Strong solution and integration architecture capability.
• Experience with software development and API integration.
• Understanding of enterprise data and information architecture.
• Experience working across Azure and/or AWS cloud environments.
• Strong technical leadership and mentoring skills.
• Understanding of security, governance and Responsible AI principles.

Experience with the following will be highly regarded:

• Vector databases and semantic search.
• Enterprise knowledge management platforms.
• API Management and integration platforms.
• CI/CD and DevOps practices.
• AI observability and performance optimisation.
• FAIRA or equivalent AI risk and assurance frameworks.
